Seascape at Colourfest
This August bank holiday in Holton Lee in Poole, Seascape will be pitching a spot at Colourfest and bringing festival goers some Thai Yoga Therapy to complement this fantastic event. Chill out with Seascape and experience some dynamic Thai Yoga Massage or Indian Head Chair Massage.
The Zen Tent is going to be ‘the Place’ to relax, restore and revive your body and mind during this celebration of Yoga, Music, Dance and Art. Immerse yourself in a vibrant four-day inspired festival in a stunning Dorset setting over the August bank holiday. You are invited to explore, celebrate and rejuvenate supported by a host of stunning performers and facilitators with plenty of options to cater for a range of tastes.

Colourfest will have three marquees packed with eclectic and captivating programmes, living nature workshops and performances. There is a dedicated kids tent and Café Shanti that will offer amazing cakes and foods, as well as a great vibe and uplifting music. There is a stage in the café that will come to life in the evening with storytellers, poets, and acoustic artists.
The Yoga programme sees some top International and UK teachers offering a diverse range of workshops and classes for both novices and experienced students, the dance classes are guided journeys into expression that has everything from explosive rhythms to classical pieces in a programme of Biodanza, Trance Dance and African dances. The music line up includes world musicians, acoustic artists and a collection of respected Devotional Music Artists from around the UK. There will also be diverse art forms from words, pictures, illustration, visual and performing arts from leading local artists such as Lighthouse’s Resident Artist Hazel Evans, local theatre companies Wulf and Treehouse, and many yarns told as Colourfest is linking with the ‘Sting in the Tale’ storytellers festival 2012.
There are special ‘featured’ events which include Body Painting and Tribal Dance, Fancy Dress Biodanza, a 108 sun salutation ‘Yogathon’, a Sacred Ceremony and Tibetan Buddhist Meditations. For kids we have an amazing fairy wood and fairy hunt illustrated by local artists, and a variety of bushcraft courses for kids and families.
‘Colourfest’ is a festival that blends inner rest with more active expressions and promises to be playful, deep and insightful, celebrating the many colours of life.

The festival starts 8am on Friday 24th August and finishes 5pm on bank holiday Monday 5pm in Holton Lee, Poole, Dorset
